Rachel Kline batting - sharply hit to short - play made by Muething for the 1st out.  Cheyenne Melius stands in - grounds out to KC Carpenter at third.  Diamond Byers now batting - grounds out to Muething at ss.

Brittany Norling leads off - drives one up the middle for a base hit.  Sophomore Wendy Wolf now up - strikes out swinging.  Meghin Palmer will take a turn at the dish - swinging bunt single in front of 2nd base - Norling moves to 2nd.  Katy Bobbitt now up - pops up to the pitcher King for out #2.  Rochelle Christman pops up to catcher Katie Lynch.

Senior Rachel Statler to lead off - ground ball bounces back to the pitcher Appleby who makes the play to 1st.  Rachel Kline stands in - grounds out to Bobbitt at 2nd -2 outs.  Cheyenne Melius will try against King - grounds out to Bobbitt agin at 2nd to end the inning.

Diamond Byers will lead off for the Blue Devils - ground ball to Muething at ss who makes the play.  Brttany Norling batting - grounds out to Jordan Knipe at 2nd base.  Wendy Wolf now batting - fly ball to Brittany Fantasia in center field for the easy third out.

Meghan Palmer, 2 for 2, will lead off - bunt - fielded by catcher Lynch who makes the play.  Katy Bobbitt stands in - fly ball to right center but Brittany Fantasia makes a nice running catch for out #2.  Rochelle Christman batting - grounds to Muething who makes a nice scoop and throws the runner out at 1st to end the inning.

Ericka Esposito to lead off the 7th - draws a walk to give the Golden Hawks the go ahead runner at 1st - Rebecca Diluzio will run for Esposito.  Kelly King batting - sac bunt to move Diluzio to second but then Diluzio caught off second and tagged out by Wendy Woldf for out #2.  Kelly King batting - pops out in foul territory to the catcher Rochelle Christman.

7th Inning (Bottom)

Rachel Statler will lead off for the Blue Devils - grounds out to Muething at ss.  Rachel Kline now batting - ditto as Muething makes another play for out #2.  Cheyenne Melius will bat - grounds out to Jordan Knipe at second - extra innings.

KC Carpenter to lead off - strikes out swinging.  Brittany Fantasia stands in - bunts to Byers at 3rd base who throws her out at 1st for out #2.  Kate Lynch stands in - a passing shower begins to fall - fly ball behind the 2nd baseman Bobbitt who backpeddles nicely and makes the grab for the 3rd out.

Diamond Byers will lead off - grounds to Muething who makes yet another put out at 1st.  Brittany Norling stands in - grounds to KC Carpenter along the 3rd baseline who makes the throw to 1st for out #2.  Wendy Wolf at bat - grounds to Muething for yet another putout.

Pattie Muething up - grounds out to Wendy Wolf.  Kate Check batting - fly ball to the warning track in center field where Meghin Palmer makes the catch for out #2.  Liz Presto stands in - line drive to left field - single.  Ericka Esposito will take a turn at the dish - slams one to the gap in right center for a double - Rachel Statler fires to the cutoff Bobbitt who fires on to Christman who makes a great tag at the plate to cut down Presto for out #3.

9th Inning (Bottom)

Meghan Palmer leads off with a swinging bunt single down the third baseline.  Katy Bobbitt grounds out but advances Palmer to 2nd.  Rochelle Christman stands in - intentional walk issued - runners at 1st and 2nd and 1 out.  Rachel Statler will bat - goes down swinging for out #2.  That will bring up Rachel Kline - line drive down the left field line - Palmer scores from second - Blue Devils win it it nine innings 1-0!!!
